Thorndon Park Activity Day a resounding success
HAVOC took part in the Thorndon Park Activity Day on Sunday 31st May 2026.
We laid on a series of courses of varying difficulty, and let participants use SI equipment to experience the full orienteering experience.
There was a great turnout, with over 50 children, and accompanying adults, taking on courses of Short, Meduim or Long length, after getting some training, guidance and given some hints and tips.
A great day had by all. We hope to run another Intro to Orienteering Day at nearby Weald Park, in a few weeks. More details on the website shortly.
