SWELL 2024/25 concludes, and winners announced

The SWELL season for 2024/25 concluded on April 13th, with the HAVOC event at Belhus Woods.  Several of the categories were still up for grabs before the event, and some tough courss made for some exciting competitions.

The SWELL event at Belhus Woods concluded this year’s series and most categories were undecided.

The final Roll of Honour is as follows :-

WHITE – Sienna  Muggeridge had already become white course champion and had a go on yellow instead. Well done.

YELLOW – None of the top 4 competed at Belhus, so Amelie Maule-Lidbury held on to win.

ORANGE – Elysia Cowe had already won this colour code, with 3 wins from the 4 events contested.

LIGHT GREEN – Lulu Gooding won with2 wins from 4 runs.

OVERALL JUNIOR - it was very close at the top, with Hugo Maule Lidbury just pipping Sienna Muggeridge by a point.

To the adults now, where everything was stll up for grabs before the final event:

GREEN – Noreen Ives held on from Ian Byford to win by 6 points.

BLUE -  David Float bags the blue. Pre-event leader Dil Wetherill missed Belhus and finished 6th.

BROWN – Donatas Tumatis came 2nd at Belhus and takes the brown category.

OVERALL ADULT – in a reverse of the green positions, SWELL Champion 2024-25 is Ian Byford, beating Noreen Ives – TOP FEMALE – into second place. Brown winner Donatas Tumatis completes the podium in 3rd.

There were nearly 900 runs on the senior courses and over 200 runs on the junior courses, across the seven events.
