JK Relay Teams
The JK is fast approaching, and with it the Relays on the final day, Monday 21st April. These will be held in Middleton Park, Leeds. This is the same area that hosted the British Relay Championships in 2019.
Middleton Park is a varied area, pitted with the remains of coal mining stretching back to the medieval period, including numerous large bell pits scattered throughout the ancient wooded valleys. Add to this a highly detailed path network, and competitors will need to keep their wits about them, from mass start to sprint finish!
All relay classes have courses with gaffling, to help split the competitors up.
Provisional Course Details can be found on the JK website
HAVOC are keen to have some interest in the relays, and are putting together as many relay team as possible. It is likely that juniors will have their entry paid for by the club, and seniors will have a contribution to their entry fee met by the club, in order to encourage participation.
If you are interested in running in one of the relay teams then please contact the club captain () who is sorting out the teams.
