HAVOC Club Championships 2025 Club Champions for 2025 announced

The HAVOC Club Championships took place at the SAX Ightham regional event on Sunday May 4th.
It was a lovely morning, a bit cooler than the day before, and there was a full range of courses available. The longer ones had a couple of long path/road legs to get between the east and west areas of woodland, and there were some areas of significant climb. The woods were generally very runnable, allowing for straight line running on many legs.
We had a great turnout of 21 HAVOC runners giving good competitions for the Open and Handicap races for the Men and Women, and four juniors.
Chloe Fowler had significantly the best time/km to take the Women's open result. The handicap was much closer, with Jenny Gebka holding off Barbara Beckett by less than 30 seconds per Km.
In the men's, Guy Lidbury took second place on the Blue course, and that was good enough a performance to take the Men's Open championship title, from Chris Prince who was running the longer Brown course. In the handicap race, it was Mike Muggeridge who retained the title for the third time in a row.
The captain has awarded the junior titles to Charlie Maule-Lidbury for his run on Sh Green, Hugo Maule-Lidbury who ran L Green, and Amelie Maule-Lidbury who beat Sienna Muggeridge on Yellow.
Congratulations to our winners, and to all who ran and made it such a great competition.
