SWELL standings after event 7 published
We have now had seven of the eight SWELL events in the 2022/23 season, with the remaining event taking place this Sunday, at Thorndon South. Entries still open on Racesignup. The latest results are found on the SWELL league page, here.
Going into the final SWELL event, this Sunday at Thorndon South, there are several categories where the winners are still to be decided.
Amelia Maule-Lidbury has a big lead on WHITE, so if attending should claim the trophy.
Sibling Hugo has already claimed the YELLOW crown.
There a three way scrap for the ORANGE. Ethan Radcliffe leads the way.
Our own Charlie Maule-Lidbury has already won the LIGHT GREEN category. Try a GREEN Charlie ?
To the adults. Daniel Ronnau-Bradbeer has a healthly advantage on GREEN following full attendance so far. 2 chasers can overhaul him if he slips up !
David Float has claimed the BLUE category & CHIG’s Harold Wyber need only to turn up to take the BROWN.
For the SWELL Trophy, another three way race sees the BLUE winner David Float vying with last year’s overall winner, David Dixon & the GREEN category leader Danial Ronnau-Bradbeer for the overall prize.
The Top Women’s Trophy is also a three way race between Noreen Ives, Sarah Mansel & Barbara Beckett.
Well done the winners, good luck to all those with a chance & to improve on last year, we intend to present this years winners at the first HAVOC event in the Autumn.
Happy Orienteering
