SWELL 2022/23 winners announced SWELL 2022/23 concluded

Following a very wet & windy April day in Thorndon - even the starter had to go home early – only the brave competed & those trying to win a coveted SWELL trophy.
WHITE
Our own Amelie Maule-Lidbury won the WHITE, taking the Danbury event along the way. There were three other event winners in Brandon Morgan, Sienna Muggeridge & Alex Lutsenko.
YELLOW
A win for Hugo Maule Lidbury in YELLOW, only running in four events & allowing himself to compete in Orange at Danbury & Thorndon !
ORANGE
Joshua Owen ran out clear winner here with a event win at Thorndon. Two time event winner Ethan Radcliffe was second
LIGHT GREEN
Charlie Maule-Lidbury completes a clean sweep the Maule-Lidbury juniors including two event wins. Shame about Dad !!
GREEN
Daniel Ronnau-Bradbeer competed in all eight events to take the GREEN
BLUE
David Float competed in the first six events & accumulated enough points to win the BLUE
BROWN
No competitor ran in all four BROWN courses, but the best three were run by Harold Wyber of CHIG
OVERALL CHAMPION
Congratulations to David Float, who competed at every event & held on from last year’s winner, David Dixon.
TOP FEMALE
Noreen Ives was a very creditable fourth overall with only six runs.
Well done to all the winners & thanks to everyone for supporting the series.
The results show that the will to get up & compete at every opportunity does pay off.
