Information about membership and how to join the club:

HAVOC is a small, friendly club which welcomes new members of all ages and abilities. Our membership includes individuals and famililies and we are keen to encourage junior participation.

As a member of HAVOC and British Orienteering you are entitled to discounts on entry fees at many events. Also you are covered by British Orienteering's public liability insurance whilst participating as a competitor or helping organise an event. You can also take advantage of member discounts for many commercial organisations - more details about this can be found on the British Orienteering website. British Orienteering members are eligible to take part in the various British Orienteering championship events and other major events held throughout the year. Members who volunteer to help at a HAVOC event qualify for a free run at that event.

Note, most HAVOC members belong to EAOA (East Anglia Orienteering Association) however, if you are more likely to orienteer in the South East region (Hertfordshire, London area and south of the Thames) you are welcome to join SEOA (South East Orienteering Association). You need to be a SEOA member to compete in their various individual championships and individual league but all HAVOC members qualify for the EAOA championships and league.

Note, when you join HAVOC you must also join British Orienteering and one of the regional associations.
